News: Woman injured in multi-vehicle crash on SH-71 east of Del Valle
DEL VALLE, TX – One person was injured in an accident involving an 18-wheeler truck and two other vehicles on State Highway 71 east of Del Valle on Tuesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on SH-71 near Ross Road at 8:08 a.m., after the driver of a brown 2002 Ford failed to yield the right of way while making a turn at a red light. The brown Ford then collided with a black 2019 Ford and a black 2016 Freightliner 18-wheeler truck.
The driver of the black Ford, a 50-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The truck driver, a 65-year-old man, was not hurt in the crash. The at-fault driver, a 19-year-old man, and his two passengers, a 35-year-old man and a 45-year-old man, were also uninjured.
