News: Woman injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-35 in East Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A woman was reportedly injured in a multi-vehicle accident on I-35 in East Austin last week, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred on I-35 near E 12th Street at about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, after the 53-year-old driver of a white 2013 Chrysler changed lanes when it was unsafe to do so.

The Chrysler then collided with a black 2019 Ram being driven by a 40-year-old man, as well as a black 2013 Cadillac and a gray 2009 Volkswagen, driven by a 56-year-old man.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 60-year-old woman, was reported as sustaining potential injuries in the accident.

The other drivers and a 52-year-old passenger in the Volkswagen were not hurt in the crash.
