News: Woman injured in crash on FM 812 Rd caused by allegedly speeding driver
ELROY, TX – A woman was injured in a crash involving an allegedly speeding driver on FM 812 Road in Elroy on Wednesday afternoon, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.
The collision happened at 13898 FM 812 Rd, near Elroy Road, at 3:05 p.m., after the 34-year-old driver of a gold 1999 Ford failed to control the speed of his vehicle. The front-left end of his car then crashed into the back-left end of a silver 2015 Dodge carrying a driver and three juvenile passengers.
The driver, a 39-year-old woman, sustained possible injuries in the crash.
Luckily, her child passengers and the other driver were not hurt in the collision.
