News: Woman injured during multi-vehicle crash on I-35 caused by distracted driving

AUSTIN, TX – A passenger was injured in a multi-vehicle collision caused by a driver’s inattention on I-35 early Sunday morning, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred on I-35, near Rundberg Lane, at 1:36 a.m., after the 33-year-old driver of a green 2003 Dodge reportedly failed to maintain his attention on the roadway.

The Dodge collided with a white 2019 Dodge, driven by a 64-year-old man, and a gray 2018 Chevrolet being operated by a 38-year-old man.

A passenger in the Dodge, a 33-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

The drivers were not reported as injured.
