News: Woman injured after truck driver crashes into her car on Ed Bluestein Blvd

AUSTIN, TX – A woman was injured after her vehicle collided with a semi-truck on Ed Bluestein Boulevard on Saturday afternoon, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The collision happened on Ed Bluestein Blvd (Highway 183), near Loyola Lane, at 1:29 p.m., when the 35-year-old driver of a white 2020 International 18-wheeler truck changed lanes when it was not safe to do so.

The front-left end of his truck crashed into the front-right quarter of a gray 2016 Ford being driven by a 34-year-old woman.

The woman sustained possible injuries in the crash.

Her 35-year-old and 10-year-old passengers, both female, were not reported as injured.

The condition of the truck driver was not immediately available.
