News: Woman injured after California man runs red light in central Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A woman was injured after a driver ran a red light in central Austin early Wednesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on I-35 near E Cesar Chavez Street at 1:21 a.m., when the driver of a gray 2020 Honda, a 29-year-old man from California, failed to stop at a traffic light.
The front of his vehicle then collided with the front-right end of a gray 2013 Honda being driven by a 24-year-old woman.
The female driver suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The at-fault driver was not hurt.
