DEL VALLE, TX – At least two people, including a teenage driver, were injured in a two-car crash on State Highway 71 in Del Valle last week, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on SH-71, just east of State Highway 130 and near Onion Creek, at around 9:23 a.m. Thursday, after the 17-year-old driver of a black 2022 Ford failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn.
The right front quarter of her vehicle was then struck by a maroon 2019 Hyundai being driven by a 33-year-old woman.
Both drivers sustained what are thought to be minor injuries.
Two passengers in the Ford, identified as a 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old, were not reported as injured.
