News: Woman and teen injured in early-morning collision on RM 2222 Rd
AUSTIN, TX – A teenage girl and another driver were injured in an early-morning collision on RM 2222 Road in northwest Austin on Thursday, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The collision occurred at 12:59 a.m. at 10527 RM 2222 Rd, near Sitio Del Rio Boulevard, as the 17-year-old driver of a blue 2017 Toyota reportedly failed to keep her attention on the roadway.
The front end of her vehicle then collided with a white 2014 Ford being driven by a 32-year-old woman.
Both drivers sustained possible injuries in the accident.
