News: Woman and pedestrian seriously injured in crash on Braker Ln

AUSTIN, TX – A driver and a pedestrian were seriously injured during a crash on Braker Lane on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The collision occurred at a 3218 W Braker Lane, near Exploration Way, at 12:42 p.m., when a gray 2020 Nissan collided with a tan 2013 Chevrolet. A 26-year-old pedestrian was also hit during the collision.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 37-year-old woman, sustained severe injuries in the crash.

The male pedestrian was also seriously injured.

The two people in the Nissan, a male driver and a female pedestrian, both 19, were not hurt.

It is unclear at this point what led to the accident.
