News: Winter road conditions lead to multi-vehicle crash on I-35 in Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, TX – A multi-vehicle crash likely caused by wintry conditions on I-35 caused traffic delays in Round Rock this morning, according to CBS Austin.

The crash happened on I-35 at Highway 79 at about 6:35 a.m., when multiple vehicles appear to have spun out on the icy roadway.

Crews closed all but the leftmost lane of traffic as they worked the scene.

No injuries were immediately reported.

Authorities believe that winter road conditions were the likely cause of the crash.

By around 6:53 a.m., the roadway was back open.
