News Update: West Lake Hills PD confirms pedestrian death
WEST LAKE HILLS, TX – West Lake Hills Police Chief Scott Gerdes has confirmed that the pedestrian who was struck on Bee Caves Road early Friday morning has died, KXAN reports.
The individual was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Bee Caves Road and Walsh Tarlton Lane at approximately 5 a.m. on February 26. Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on the scene and were able to restore a pulse before transporting the victim to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. The person died there some time later.
The pedestrian’s identity has not been released at this time.
