News update: Victim of fatal pedestrian crash on Parmer Ln was run over multiple times
AUSTIN, TX – Authorities have released the identity of the victim and further details in a fatal pedestrian crash on Parmer Lane that happened late Friday night.

According to the Austin Police Department, at about 11:59 p.m., 35-year-old Daniel Peter Foti was reportedly run over multiple times by the driver of a silver vehicle in the parking lot of a 7-11 convenience store located in the 1100 block of W Parmer Lane.
Foti was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Authorities are searching for the driver of the suspect vehicle, which is likely a 2017-2020 silver or grey Honda hatchback. Those with any information on the accident are asked to contact Austin Police at 512-974-TIPS (8477) or email homicide.apd@austintexas.gov.
The victim’s death has been ruled as suspicious.
