News update: Police ID victim of June 26 wrong-way crash on Ben White Blvd
AUSTIN, TX – Authorities have released the identity of the victim killed in a wrong-way crash on Ben White Boulevard last month.
This is an update to a previous news story.
According to the Austin Police Department, the wrong-way crash happened in the 500 block of W Ben White Blvd on June 26 at 2:31 a.m., when a silver 2004 Mercedes-Benz collided with a silver 2015 Nissan Sentra.
The driver of the Sentra, 26-year-old Jennifer Rosas-Sanchez, has been identified as the victim. She died at the scene.
Another two people were hospitalized after the crash.
The crash, which is Austin’s 54th fatal collision of the year, remains under investigation at this time.
