News update: Driver injured after bus and pickup collide on FM 1431 in Lago Vista
LAGO VISTA, TX – A driver was hospitalized after a pickup truck crashed into a bus and caught fire in Lago Vista on Friday night, according to CBS Austin.
This is an update to a previous story.
The crash happened in the 25000 block of FM 1431, about two miles east of Singleton Bend, at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, when a pickup truck and a bus collided. The pickup truck then burst into flames.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
None of the 30 passengers aboard the bus were hurt in the collision.
The crash led to closures in both directions of FM 1431 as authorities worked the scene.
