News UPDATE: APD IDs victim in fatal I-35 Frontage Road crash

AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department has identified the pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash on I-35 N Frontage Road Sunday

The collision took place after 2:15 a.m. on the 600 blocks. According to CBS Austin, a driver of a blue Kia Forte struck the man, Jorge Luis Sanchez Villalobos, and then hit another vehicle. The suspect did not render aid to Sanchez Villalobos or notify authorities and fled the scene. 

 Sanchez Villalobos succumbed to fatal injuries. 

Austin Police said the vehicle they are looking for is between a 2016 to 2018 four-door Blue Kia Forte model with heavy front damage.
