News: Two-vehicle crash at Burleson Road, FM 973 injures three, kills 46-year-old woman

AUSTIN, TX – A two-vehicle collision at Burleson Road and FM 973 injured three and killed one Tuesday night, FOX 7 Austin reported. 

The crash happened at 11:55 pm. A car was going east on Burleson Road and drove through a red light. This caused the first car to collide with another vehicle. Shortly after, the second car overturned. As a result, two sustained minor injuries, and another suffered life-threatening injuries. 

The second vehicle’s driver, Priscilla Juarez, 46, succumbed to her injuries and died. 

Police said the driver who ran the red light was 28-year-old Randall Cavazos. 

It is unclear if Cavazos was harmed, but what is known is that he was arrested for intoxication assault and intoxication manslaughter.
