News: Two people reported injured after T-bone accident on 1st Street
AUSTIN, TX – Two people, including an 18-year-old driver, were reported as injured following a collision on 1st Street in the South Manchaca neighborhood late Tuesday night.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the accident happened at a traffic light at 4523 S 1st Street, near Philco Drive, at 11:55 p.m., when an 18-year-old driver T-boned a silver 2003 Honda being operated by a 38-year-old man.
The teen driver, who was operating a silver 2015 Kia, is thought to have suffered minor injuries in the accident.
A passenger in the Honda, a 24-year-old woman, was also possibly hurt.
The Honda’s driver was not reported as injured.
