News: Two people injured in single-vehicle crash on FM 812
ELROY, TX (TRAVIS COUNTY) – Two people were injured in a single-vehicle collision on FM 812 Road in southeastern Travis County early this morning, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
#ATCEMS is responding to a Motor Vehicle Collision at Fm 812 Rd/Elroy Rd (01:18). @TCFRESD11 units on scene reporting a single vehicle collision, with 1 adult patient that was extricated from the vehicle and is unconscious. @STAR_Flight_TC has also been requested, more to follow.— ATCEMS (@ATCEMS) March 12, 2021
The accident occurred in the town of Elroy, at the intersection of FM 812 and Elroy Road at 1:18 a.m., where a single vehicle crashed.
One patient was unconscious when officials arrived at the scene and was then declared a trauma alert. That patient was taken to St. David’s South with critical, life-threatening injuries.
A second victim was taken to the same hospital with non-critical wounds.
The identities of the victims and the cause of the crash are not available at this time.
