News: Two people dead, four injured in 12th St. structure fire
AUSTIN, TX – Two people were killed, and another four were injured when a structure caught fire in the East Austin area this morning, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The fire started at 2932 E 12th Street, located in the Chestnut neighborhood, before 11:10 a.m.
Two people died at the scene. One person was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening wounds, and three other victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The Austin Fire Department has stated that the cause of the fire will not be released until autopsies have been performed on the victims.
AFD stated that the fire was under control at 11:33 a.m.
