News: Two people critically injured in early-morning crash on W Hwy 290
AUSTIN, TX – Two people were taken to the hospital after being involved in a pin-in car accident on Highway 290 early Saturday morning, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened at about 2 a.m. around 4970 W Highway 290 in the westbound lanes, and caused one person to be pinned within the wreckage and another to be entrapped.
After being rescued by emergency crews, both victims were taken to St. David’s South to receive treatment for critical, life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
