News: Two men injured in speed-related rear-end crash on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – An elderly man and another driver were reported injured during an allegedly speed-related crash on I-35 last week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The accident occurred on I-35 near E 40th Street at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, as the driver of a black 2014 Chevrolet, a 25-year-old man from Utah, was allegedly speeding.

The front of his vehicle collided with the rear of a white 2016 Nissan being driven by a 73-year-old man.

Both drivers sustained what authorities believe to be minor injuries.

Crashes can change a person’s life in an instant, which is why it is often so difficult to deal with the actions of a negligent or reckless driver.
