News: Two men injured in rear-end collision on I-35 and Bentwood Rd

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were reported injured after being rear-ended by another driver on I-35 last week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The accident occurred on I-35, north of Bentwood Road and Airport Boulevard, at 11:27 a.m. Thursday, as a 51-year-old man driving a white 2001 Ford was allegedly following too closely behind a black 2016 Chevrolet.

The front of the Ford crashed into the rear of the Chevrolet.

The 48-year-old driver and his 49-year-old male passenger sustained possible injuries in the crash.

The driver of the Ford was not reported as hurt.
