News: Two injured when semi collides with car in Del Valle
DEL VALLE, TX – Two people were hospitalized Saturday when a semi truck collided with a passenger vehicle near Southeast Metro Park.

The collision occurred at about 7:19 p.m. on eastbound TX-71 at Ross Road, about three miles southeast of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Austin-Travis County EMS transported two people to South Austin Medical Center, one of whom had become pinned in their vehicle and required extrication. Both are expected to survive.
The emergency response caused significant delays in the area.
The exact cause of the accident remains unknown at this time.
