News: Traffic snarls on Hwy 71 in Lakeway after big rig crash
LAKEWAY, TX – An 18-wheeler crashed into a 500-gallon drum, causing lane closures and delays for several hours Wednesday.
The incident took place on Highway 71, and all lanes on the highway between Great Divide and Bee Cave Parkway closed around 5 a.m., according to FOX 7 Austin.
The truck driver was unharmed. However, there has been no official word on what led to the collision and when the road will clear after clean-up.
