News: Teen hospitalized after rollover crash on Spicewood Springs Rd

AUSTIN, TX – A teenager was hospitalized following a rollover crash on Spicewood Springs Road this afternoon, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision happened in northwest Austin in the 6400 block of Spicewood Springs Rd near White Cliff Drive at 4:08 p.m., when a vehicle carrying five people crashed and overturned in a nearby creek.

A person in their late teens was declared a trauma alert, then taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for the treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.

The other four occupants were not reported as injured.

Drivers were told to expect heavy traffic delays near the scene and to keep a watch for investigators working in the area.
