News: Teen and driver injured after NC man runs red light in W Travis County

AUSTIN, TX – An 18-year-old and another driver were injured in a two-vehicle collision in western Travis County last week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The collision occurred at a traffic light at 7200 RM 2244 Road (Bee Cave Road), near Barton Creek Boulevard, at 5:45 p.m.

A 25-year-old man from North Carolina driving a red 2011 Toyota allegedly ran a red light before the front-left end of his vehicle collided with the back end of a white 2013 Mercedes-Benz.

The North Carolina man and the other driver, an 18-year-old male, both suffered minor injuries in the crash.
