News: TCSO closes FM 1431 due to icy roads and collision
LAGO VISTA, TX (TRAVIS COUNTY) – Authorities were forced to close FM 1431 due to winter weather conditions and at least one car accident this morning.
According to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred near Tyler Trail at about 10:26 a.m.

While the circumstances of the accident were not entirely clear, icy roads likely played a part.
No word yet on injuries sustained during the crash.
One eastbound lane was open by noon, and all lanes of FM 1431 were cleared by 12:37 p.m.
