News: Possible injuries after elderly driver rear-ends woman’s car on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – A woman was possibly injured after she was rear-ended by an elderly driver in Austin on Monday night, according to MyAccident.

The accident occurred on I-35, near Highway 290, at 7:53 p.m., when the 77-year-old driver of a silver 2011 Subaru was reportedly following too closely to a second vehicle, a black 2018 BMW.

The front of the Subaru then collided with the back of the BMW.

The driver of the BMW, a 34-year-old woman, sustained possible injuries as a result of the crash.

The male driver of the Subaru was not reported as hurt.

The identities of the victims were not immediately available.
