News: Police ID victims of fatal single-vehicle collision on 290

AUSTIN, TX – Police have released the identities of the two people killed in a single-vehicle collision on US 290 last month, CBS Austin reports.

The collision occurred at about 3:07 a.m. on January 29, when the driver of a Kia Stinger that was traveling in the center lane of 290 eastbound lost control of the vehicle in the highway’s 9500 block and slammed into a guardrail and then a cement pillar.

Both of the vehicle’s occupants died at the scene. They have been identified as Jay Ochoa, 20, and Juan Sanchez, 19. It is not clear which man was the driver.
