News: Person hospitalized after vehicle rescue on Mopac Expressway
AUSTIN, TX – Authorities took one person to the hospital following a vehicle rescue on the Mopac Expressway this morning, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident happened in the 4700 block of the southbound expressway, after one person became pinned within their vehicle.
Authorities managed to extricate the adult victim from their vehicle and declared them a trauma alert.
The person was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of severe, possibly life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the incident was not immediately released.
Drivers were told to expect extended traffic delays near the scene.
