News: Person hospitalized after pin-in crash on Highway 290
AUSTIN, TX – One person was hospitalized following a pin-in collision on Highway 290 on Saturday evening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred between 7400-7549 E U.S. Highway 290 eastbound at around 7:30 p.m.
Two vehicles collided, and one person was trapped within the wreckage for some time. Emergency responders declared that person a trauma alert, and then took them to Dell Seton for the treatment of possibly serious injuries.
A second person refused transport to the hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
