BEE CAVE, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a pole near State Highway 71 in Bee Cave early this morning, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred near the intersection of W SH-71 and S FM 620 Road at 12:56 a.m., when a vehicle collided with a pole, then caught on fire.
One person was declared a trauma alert, then taken to the hospital in St. David’s South Austin with possibly serious wounds.
