News: Person hospitalized after car collides with building on Airport Blvd

AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after their vehicle collided with a building on Airport Boulevard this afternoon, according to details provided by Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened at 6515 Airport Blvd, near W Huntland Drive and W Highland Mall Boulevard, at 4:31 p.m., after a driver crashed into a building.

CPR efforts were administered on a single victim, who was also suffering from cardiac arrest which authorities believed to be medical in nature. The victim was then taken to the hospital.

Drivers were told to expect traffic delays and closures near the scene.
