News: Person hospitalized after being pinned against tree in SW Austin crash
AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after crashing into a tree near Slaughter Lane this afternoon, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened at 12:06 p.m. near the intersection of W Slaughter Lane and Vinemont Drive, near the Circle C Ranch Park in southwestern Austin.
A vehicle crashed into a tree, causing one person to be pinned within the wreckage. The victim was unconscious when authorities arrived at the scene, and they were declared a trauma alert.
By 12:42 p.m., the victim had been extricated from the crash, and was being prepared for transport to St. David’s South with undisclosed injuries.
Their identity was not immediately available.
