News: Person dead after driver crashes into pedestrian on Ben White Blvd

AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on the Ben White Boulevard service road this evening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred in the 600 block of the E Ben White service road westbound, near Payload Pass and west of I-35 at 9:41 p.m., when a driver collided with a pedestrian.

One person, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drivers are told to expect closures and traffic delays in the area as authorities investigate the crash.
