AUSTIN, TX – One person was hospitalized following a pedestrian crash on Congress Avenue this evening, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred near the intersection of S Congress Ave and E Mockingbird Lane at 8:49 p.m., when a driver struck an adult pedestrian.

The victim was declared a trauma alert, then taken to South Austin Medical Center with severe, life-threatening injuries.
