News: Pedestrian severely injured in crash on St. Johns Avenue
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in the St. Johns neighborhood on Saturday night, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The crash happened at 672 E St. Johns Avenue, just west of I-35, at 8:52 p.m., when the 19-year-old driver of a silver 2010 Toyota failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn. His vehicle then collided with a red 2013 Ford being driven by a 56-year-old man.
A 34-year-old female pedestrian suffered severe injuries as a result of the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
