News: Pedestrian injured after being hit by driver on 1st Street
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a driver on 1st Street on Sunday evening, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The collision happened at 2596 S 1st Street, near Herndon Lane, at 7:12 p.m., when the 29-year-old driver of a blue 2011 Nissan failed to yield the right of way to a pedestrian.
The Nissan then collided with the pedestrian, a 38-year-old woman.
The victim sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The driver was not reported as injured.
