News: Pedestrian dead after being hit by driver on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on I-35 this evening, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 15200 block of N I-35 southbound at 7:37 p.m., after an adult pedestrian was struck by a driver.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drivers were told to expect extended traffic delays in the area as authorities investigated.
