News: Pedestrian critically injured in North Austin crash
AUSTIN, TX – One is in critical condition after getting hit by several vehicles near Barwood Park in North Austin Sunday.
The collision occurred before 5:30 a.m. on the 8500 block of the N I-35 Service Road on the southbound lanes, according to a tweet from ATCEMS.
Vehicle-pedestrian collision 8500-9100 N I35 Svrd SB (05:26 x-street Barwood) Patient struck by multiple vehicles has been transported to Dell Seton with critical life-threatening injuries. There was another person involved in the crash who appeared to have sustained minor injuries. However, this other occupant declined to be taken to a hospital.
The occupant in critical condition was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center; their identity and name have not been released at this time.
