News: Pedestrian critically injured in late-night crash on Lamar and Powell
AUSTIN, TX – One person was critically injured when they were struck by a vehicle on Lamar Boulevard late this evening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision occurred near the intersection of N Lamar Blvd and W Powell Lane at 10:09 p.m., when an adult pedestrian was struck by a driver.
The pedestrian was found unconscious at the scene by authorities and was declared a trauma alert. The victim, who was not immediately identified, was then taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of critical, life-threatening wounds.
Drivers are told to expect traffic delays near the scene and to watch for investigators.
