News: One seriously injured after being pinned in crash on Hwy 183
AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after being trapped within the wreckage of an accident on Highway 183 earlier tonight, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred in the 6900 block of S US-183 at 7:07 p.m. and resulted in one person being pinned for about 30 minutes.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately revealed, was extricated by 7:34 p.m. They were taken to St. David’s South for the treatment of possibly serious injuries.
The other person involved in the accident was not hurt.
Authorities advised travelers to avoid the area, as traffic delays were likely.
