News: One injured in 18-wheeler crash and fire on US 290
AUSTIN, TX- A crash with an 18-wheeler caused a vehicle fire and an injury on Friday afternoon on US 290, according to KXAN.
At approximately 4:00pm, a car was found underneath a jack-knifed 18-wheeler, causing a fire and a fuel spill near the intersection of US 290 and Johnny Morris Road. Initially no injuries were reported as officials worked to clean the spill, put out the fire, and clear the area from the crash. However, it was revealed shortly after that one driver was transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
