News: One critically injured, other injuries reported in I-35 collision
AUSTIN, TX- One person was in critical condition and another suffered non life-threatening injuries after a Monday morning crash on I-35, according to KVUE.
The three-car crash happened on 6200 N I-35, in between the US 183 and the US 290, at about 5 a.m. Austin-Travis County EMS extricated one person from a vehicle, and transported that individual to Dell Seton Medical Center. A second person was evaluated for minor injuries.
Southbound I-35 was shut down due to the accident, and significant delays and detours were reported.
The Austin Fire Department said that there were three patients in total, but that only two sustained minor injuries.
