News: Multi-vehicle crash on Mopac causes multiple lane closures, delays
AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) reported a multi-vehicle collision on the Mopac Expressway this afternoon that caused traffic delays and lane closures.

The accident happened in the 800 block of the northbound Mopac Expwy, near Enfield Road, at about 3 p.m. and appears to have involved multiple vehicles.
At this point, it is not clear what led to the crash or if anyone was injured as a result.
APD shut down all but the leftmost lane of the northbound side of the highway as they worked the accident.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area and to expect traffic delays.
All lanes of the expressway were cleared by 4 p.m.
