News: Multi-vehicle crash on Bastrop Hwy injures several adults, two children
AUSTIN, TX – Two children and multiple adults were injured after a several-vehicle crash happened around 10:46 am Tuesday, KXAN reported.
The collision took place in the northbound lanes of Bastrop Highway close to Montopolis Drive. The cause of the crash, however, was not stated, nor were the victims’ identities.
Austin-Travis County EMS said four adults were transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where two were treated for minor injuries, and two for potentially serious injuries.
One adult was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, with life-threatening injuries. One adult also sustained serious injuries and was transported to Dell’s Children.
The two children were taken to Dell’s Children, where one sustained minor injuries while the other was in critical condition.
