News: Motorcyclist injured in crash with suspected drunk driver on Slaughter Ln
AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with an allegedly drunk driver on Slaughter Lane last week, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on W Slaughter Lane near Riddle Road and Menchaca Road at 12:19 a.m. Thursday, when the 33-year-old driver of a black 2014 Cadillac failed to maintain his attention on the roadway and then did not yield the right of way while making a left turn. He crashed into a black 2014 Yamaha motorcycle being operated by a 27-year-old man.
The motorcyclist sustained non-critical injuries in the crash.
The at-fault driver, who is suspected of having been under the influence when the accident happened, was not reported as injured.
