AUSTIN, TX – A woman from Massachusetts was injured in a crash that occurred at an intersection in South Austin on Friday morning, according to information released by the Texas Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred at the stop sign at 1998 Barge Street and Menchaca Road at 11:34 a.m., when the front end of a blue 2021 Honda, driven by a 29-year-old woman, collided with the back of a blue 2008 Honda.
The driver of the 2008 Honda, a 29-year-old woman from Massachusetts, sustained possible injuries in the crash.
While the cause of the crash was not immediately available, authorities stated that the weather was rainy at the time of the collision.
