News: Man severely injured in single-car crash near Austin-Bergstrom Airport
AUSTIN, TX – A man was severely injured during a speed-related crash near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport this weekend, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened at 3046 Emma Browning Avenue, near E Perimeter Road, at 2:09 a.m. Saturday, after the 28-year-old driver of an orange 2009 Nissan failed to maintain his attention on the roadway and failed to control the speed of his vehicle. The Nissan then crashed.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, sustained severe injuries in the collision.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
