News: Man injured in rear-end crash caused by distracted driver on I-35
BUDA, TX – A man was injured during a crash caused by an allegedly distracted and speeding driver on I-35 in Buda this weekend, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred on I-35, south of Main Street, at 11:03 p.m. Sunday, after the 22-year-old driver of a black 2015 Mazda reportedly failed to maintain her attention on the road and failed to control the speed of her car.
She then rear-ended a blue 2015 Toyota being driven by a 25-year-old man.
The driver of the Toyota sustained possible injuries in the crash.
The at-fault driver and her 26-year-old passenger were not hurt.
